Project: Natural Playgrounds (Naturlegepladser)

Short description

In connection to the Mål 2B-project, Naturturisme I/S prioritised to establish two larger and unique natural playgrounds by Gåsebjergsand i Svanninge Hills (Svanninge Bakker) and Lunden in Ærøskøbing. The latter was closed in 2014.

The thought was to integrate play to outdoor experiences – both as a continuous element in nature experiences in Det Sydfynske Øhav (The South Funen Archipelago) and as natural playgrounds in connection to paths, resting areas and overnight accommodations. Suggestions to play and challenges in Det Sydfynske Øhav (The South Funen Archipelago) that large neither small can resist must be present.

Collaborators: The Danish Nature Agency, Funen, Aero Municipality, the Nature Educational Centre on Aero (Naturskolen på Ærø) and the Danish Outdoor Council.

The project was hended over in 2007
