Orange the World – talks and socialising in Rudkøbing
As part of Orange the World, the focus is on violence against women and girls, with talks, music and communal singing.

Orange the World – an information evening for anyone interested
Rudkøbing Inner Wheel invites you to an evening at the Ørstedspavillonen as part of Orange the World – a global UN campaign focusing on preventing and ending violence against women and girls. The event is open to all.
Talk on violence and the way forward
The evening’s programme includes a talk by author Charlotte Andersen, who has written the book *Free from the Grip of Violence – A Journey from Pain to Strength*. In addition, a social worker from the Fyn Crisis Centre will speak about their work with women who have been subjected to violence.
Music, communal singing and fellowship
‘Orange the World’ in Rudkøbing is also about coming together as a community. There will be communal singing throughout the evening, and pupils from Humble Music Boarding School will provide musical accompaniment for part of the programme. Coffee and cake will also be served, and orange treats will be on sale to raise funds for a crisis centre on Funen. The colour orange is the campaign’s symbol of a bright and optimistic future free from violence, and guests are encouraged to wear orange clothing to the event.
Registration
