Books & Waves is Langeland's own literature festival, bringing together prominent authors and readers for a day filled with readings, conversations and cultural interaction.

The festival will be held on Saturday 16 May 2026 in charming Bagenkop, where Hyttefadet will provide the setting for the day's programme.

Hyttefadet in Bagenkop is located close to the harbour and provides the perfect backdrop for a day dedicated to literature. The atmosphere here is relaxed and the surroundings beautiful – right by the South Funen Archipelago.
