Geospot: Hjortø

Hjortø is a low, reclaimed moraine island in the shallow eastern part of the archipelago.

The entire south coast is made up of Holocene marine foreland, including a small crumbling formation. To the northwest, an odd-shaped formation with a corded beach island and small barrier islands.
